Do I need any technical knowledge to use Traxelo?+
None at all. If you can fill out a web form and double-click an installer, you can use Traxelo. The wizard walks you through every decision in plain English. The installer handles all technical setup automatically — Python, dependencies, configuration, everything.
Is my money safe? How do you protect my API keys?+
Your API keys are encrypted inside your browser using AES-256 before the installer package is generated. Traxelo's servers never see your keys — only the encrypted version is embedded in your installer, which is decrypted locally at runtime using your password. We operate a zero-knowledge architecture — there is literally nothing sensitive on our servers to steal.
What happens if the bot loses money?+
Every bot has configurable risk controls — daily loss limits, max bet sizes, and loss streak protection that pauses trading automatically. You set your risk level during setup and can change it anytime. Trading always carries risk and past performance doesn't guarantee future results — but our bots are designed to protect capital first.
Does my computer need to stay on for the bot to run?+
Yes — the bot runs locally so your machine needs to be on. If you want 24/7 trading without keeping your computer running, our hosted compute add-on ($19/month on Quant plan) provisions a dedicated cloud server that runs your bot continuously, even when your laptop is closed.
